Chiefs Re-Sign Super Bowl Hero to Bolster Patrick Mahomes’ Offense

The Chiefs reportedly re-signed WR Mecole Hardman on Thursday morning, bringing the Super Bowl hero back to Kansas City in hopes of winning his third straight Super Bowl and fourth overall.

Hardman instantly becomes the most experienced receiver in this offense, bringing experience and veteran savvy to a position group lacking in both. He’s a bonafide weapon in the red zone in addition to contributing to special teams, making the signing a logical decision for both sides.

There was concern Hardman’s time as a Chief was done after Kansas City gave first-round rookie Xavier Worthy his old number, though those concerns were obviously unfounded.
